General informationTartarean Desire is a webzine that is dedicated to metal, hard rock, darkwave, gothic, ambient, neo-folk and all other kinds of alternative music. We do not care whether the band is big or small, all we care about is good music. In that way we are very different from mainstream media who usually only covers what they are "told" by the major record companies. We do not follow trends or the personal opinions of label bosses. We do not stay true to metal or claim to be some kind of Manowar warriors, we stay true to ourselves, the music and the hard working artists behind it. It all started back in May 2000 when the first version of the website was put online. Back then this was a personal website. Since then the design has changed to the better and the focus has been moved from all kinds of general dark subjects to only music. Back then the site was rather small but today Tartarean Desire features more than 2900 reviews, 5900 band pages, 320 interviews etc. and is visited by 4000-4500 people a day. We reach people from at least 80 countries.ContributionWe are always looking for skilled collaborators. In case you are interested in writing for the webzine, if so only one article, just let me know. You will of course be credited for your contribution. You must have good knowledge on both the history of metal and of course in the English language.
