Osnabrück, a medium-sized city in the North of Germany, is not exactly well-known for having a lively metal scene but 5 times a year Burning Stage organizes a one day indoor festival with metal bands from various genres. On September 2nd the Hellflame Festival is set to take place to satisfy the local metalheads’ needs. Gorefest will be headlining but even if old school death metal is not your cup of tea, be sure to find something of your taste among the billing: be it fine Swedish death metal from Unleashed, melodic progressive death metal from Finland’s Wintersun or kick ass black metal from Marduk, the variety is surely there.
