CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF PROPHECY PRODUCTIONS

 Prophecy Productions is in my opinion one of the most important and influential (metal)labels from the past decade. Founded in 1996 by Martin Koller especially for the release of the debut album ‘A Wintersunset’ from cult band Empyrium, their roster now has around 100 releases in the genres metal, melancholic rock, folk and gothic. Quality is more important than quantity, and this is reflected in the choice of bands that released or are releasing their music through the label: Empyrium, Arcturus, Green Carnation, Bethlehem, In The Woods, Canaan, Tenhi, Of The Wand And The Moon, Orplid and many more. This year marks the labels 10th birthday, and they are celebrating this joyful event very suitable with a one day festival. The line-up is a combination between their more established and younger artists, a blend of black-metal, folk, pop-rock and metal, together with some surprises and exclusive showcases. In the afternoon there will be a seated concert with Subaudition from Finland, the very talented and enchanting German dark-folk band Neun Welten and also Dornenreich, who will give a special and exclusive unplugged concert. The evening program consists of four more heavy performances. The superb Klimt 1918 from Italy will kick off the evening, followed by Dark Suns and also black-metal masters Secrets Of The Moon. The so called icing on the cake will be served by headliner The Vision Bleak who will exclusively perform their horror show together with an ensemble of strings and classical singers. Location for this great event is Zeltingen-Rachtig in south-west Germany between Trier and Koblenz.
