Leicestershire based alternative metallers 1000 Scars surfaced with a self-financed album entitled "New Rebellion" in May 2007. June 15th, 2007, saw the band supporting grind pioneers Napalm Death at the Charlotte club in Leicester alongside local colleagues Black River Project and Black Eye Friday.
