A.S.A.P.(Adrian Smiths Side Project) started out as a side-project besides English heavy metal giants Iron Maiden during their break in 1989. Adrian Smith decided to leave Iron Maiden after the release of "Silver And Gold". He joined back with them in 1999 together with the other lost son, Bruce Dickinson. All of the members in the band were famous musicians but only Adrian Smith and Dave Colwell had played in metal / hard rock bands before
