Therefore the starting line up of Abhijukto was:
Riad- Drums / Vocals
Swad- Guitar / Back Vocals
Tamzid- Bass
Shayaan- Rhythm Guitar
After a few months of continous practice and jamming the band got offers to play at clubs and social parties. But at the start of the year 2002 the band faced a sudden dead end when Shayaan was force to leave the band because his family was shifting to Chitagong. Without a rhythm guitarist it was hard for the band to continue but before the band was even able to think of breaking up they met Ashfaq and Arefin. Ashfaq and Arefin both studied in the same school as Riad. Seeing the duo play together for the first time the band decided to take them in Abhijukto.
Therefore the new line up of Abhijukto was:
Riad- Drums / Vocals
Swad- Rhythm Guitar / Back Vocals
Tamzid- Bass
Ashfaq- Keyboard
Arefin- Lead Guitar
By the mid of 2002 the band was getting more popular within friends and families but it was their time of hit the stages and compete with other bands in a concert. When they got the offer for the concert they agreed except for Arefin who thought that he was not yet prepared for the concert. This argument led to an agressive decision which was to ask Arefin to leave the band. Following this argument a wave of anger and sadness forced the band to pull out of the concert at the last moment. At this time Ashfaq planned to leave the band for some unavoidable reasons and the band was again forced to go back to the drawing board.
With all these bad newz the band for a moment thought of calling it a day, when Tamzid and Swad met Imran in Dhaka Billiard Centre during the Benson and Hedges Star Search Auditions. After chatting with Imran for a while, Swad invited Imran to one of Abhijukto's jamming sessions and that is when Imran got a chance of jamming with Abhijukto for the first time ever. All the members of Abhijukto were so pleased when jamming with Imran that a few more jamming sessions were called and finally he was asked to join Abhijukto as a Lead Guitarist.
Therefore the new line up of Abhijukto was:
Riad- Drums / Vocals
Swad- Rhythm Guitar / Back Vocals
Tamzid- Bass
Imran- Lead Guitar
With this line up a new maze of rockers were born, and now about a few months of jamming together the band has finally planned to hit the stage.
