Band biography Upload photo
In 1987 Chicago native Paul Speckmann formed the band Funeral Bitch together with Alex Olvera from the band Assault. Soon the same year Paul met drummer Aaron Nickeas and began late night rehearsals after the band members had gone home. The result was a new death metal band which was given the name Abomination. They eventually signed a contract with the German label Nuclear Blast Records in 1989 and released two albums for the label. Paul and the band never received any money from the label though. By 1993 the band had broken up with Chioles and Nickeas forming another extreme metal act called Body Bag. Chioles would however be diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and was forced to give up the guitar.
