Band biography

AETERNITAS was founded in 1999 by Alexander Hunzinger and Anja Malchau. The year 2000 saw the release of their successful first album "Requiem", a musically manifold mix from classical elements to metal with original old Latin lyrics.

In 2002 the recordings for the second album "La Danse Macabre" started and were finally finished at the end of 2003 after the change to Serpina Records and Armageddon Products.

With this album, AETERNITAS combines modern gothic metal with classical, electronic and theatrical influences leading to the incomparable symbiosis of dark and melancholy Gothic-Theatre-Metal!
