After Dark was a NWOBHM band that formed in the UK in 1979. They split up in 1985. Steve Annetts and Michael Hare formed Dangerous Age before reforming After Dark. They had a few releases and toured the UK together with Diamond Head. Bracknell based vocalist Steve Annetts was under consideration for lead singer of the British band The Next (1980-1981) and was later offered the job as the vocalist of Gary Moore but the record label wanted someone else.
