Andreas Kisser photo
Andreas Rudolf Kisser was born on August 24th, 1968, in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. At the age of 13 he grew up learning the play the guitar listening to his heroes Steve Howe and Randy Rhoads. After having played briefly with two bands called Esfinge and Pestilence he witnessed a show by Sepultura in Belo Horizonte in 1986. He was introduced to the band members and in early 1987 he came to join them as their guitarist Jairo Guedz decided to leave for personal and musical reasons. In 2005 he recorded his debut solo album at the A Voz do Brasil in São Paulo, Brazil, due for release in early 2006 via the Dutch label Mascot Records with whom he had signed a deal in February 2005.
