Band biography

Formed in 1999 as a chaotic grind band with intent on doing "something new", ANTAGONY evolved into an innovative melodic death metal band with shades of hardcore and dark ambience. Their 2001 debut "See Through These Eyes" (out of print) was reviewed as 'ambitious, original, and memorable' and placed them on the map as one of "the most promising bands and worth keeping an eye on."

Unfortunately, after the bands 2nd tour (2001 Triangle of Hate Tour) their momentum was halted by personal conflicts, side projects, and member changes. In midst of all the bumps Antagony has been slowly building new material over the years. Their new music is venturing into a new direction yet again...now focusing on dark epic heaviness. The long awaited 2nd album is promised to be an "Epic Masterpiece" and coming.
