Band biography

Apostasy was formed in 1994. Its first members consisted of Svenn-Aksel Henriksen on guitar, Arne Ording on drums, Stefan Peersen on vocals, Ruben Gentèkos on synth, Daniel Nymo on guitars and finally Bernt Olav Bryge on bass. After a while Bernt Olav Bryge was replaced by Gøran Bomann and soon Cecilie Haugedal also joined on female vocals.

In 1997 Ole J. Moe and Lisa Christine Hansen replaced Gøran Bomann and Ruben Gentèkos. Now APOSTASY decided to start all over with its new members. They now started playing a new style which may draw similarities to bands such as Dark Tranquillity and In Flames.

On the 17th of June, vocalist Stefan Peersen died after a short period in the hospital. Now Svenn-Aksel Henriksen is doing the male vocals of the band.
