| Band biography |
At that time, Aquilon consists of Alexandre (vocals, keyboard), Anne (vocals, keyboard), Christophe (guitar), Sebastien (guitar), Jérome (bass) and Jeremy (drums). The music of Aquilon is characterized by a subtle mixture of aggressiveness and melody.
For one year, Aquilon give various concerts, sharing the bill with different groups of national fame such as Agressor (Season Of Mist), Dryad (NTS), Rain (Adipocere), etc.
During 2002, some changes occur within Aquilon. Jérome, wishing to focus on his home life, decides to leave the band in January. Shortly afterwards, Sabrina, bass player of the group Dryad, joins Aquilon.
In September 2002, the differences of ambition and motivation between Jeremy and all the other members of the group result in the band adopting Ghislain, of the group Dryad, as their new drummer.
Since the beginning of 2003, dates of concert are in quick succession (Metal Attack festival 29/3; Nuclear Festival 5/07 with Yattering, Gojira, Furia...; Nebuchadnezzar in Lyon). On 23rd June, 2003, the Mini CD "Les Ombres de Quatre Murs" is finally released and allows the group to be spoken about. Fabien, the new drummer joined Aquilon few months ago.
Their first album called "Intramedia" has been released by the famous label "Adipocere" since July 2004.
