Babylon was an early American heavy metal band that existed in the early 80s in Seattle, Washington. The band is mostly known for having featured the later to be Queensrÿche vocalist Geoff Tate. The drummer Matt Bazemore auditioned for Heir Apparent in 1984 after Jim Kovach had left the band in August that year but lost the job to Ray Schwartz. Bazemore later on did the cover art for Queensrÿches album "The Warning".
