Beautiful Creatures photo
The American hard rock act Beautiful Creatures was created in Los Angeles, California, in September 1999 by former Bulletboys guitarist D.J. Ashba. In late 2000 they changed their name and became Hellstar. As a major label deal was offered by Warner Bros they once again rebilled themselves as Beautiful Creatures. As their self-titled album failed to generate high enough sales figures they were released from Warner Bros in early 2002, shortly after which founding member D.J. Ashba parted with the band.
