The Austrian black metal band Belphegor was formed in 1991. After some time on labels like Lethal Records and Last Episode Productions they signed a deal with Napalm Records in 2003. The band is an experienced live band and have played with bands like Morbid Angel, Asphyx, Sodom, Slayer, Marduk and Cannibal Corpse just to mention a few. During April and May 1998 they did an 18 dates European tour together with Ancient and Behemoth. In January 2001 another 8 dates German headliner tour was executed with Dunkelgrafen and Dawn Of Dreams as support acts. Another headliner tour was done in Germany and Belgium with 8 dates in December of 2002. The band has also performed on festivals like Fuck The Commerce IV, With Full Force VIII, Hell On Earth Festiaval I (all in 2001), Summerbreeze, Brutal Assault, Morbide Festspiele (in 2002) and Inferno and Fuck The Commerce VI in 2003. The band runs their own label Phallelujah Productions as well. In early October 2005 the band announced that they had parted ways with Napalm Records.
