Beyond Dreams was originally formed in 1992 under the name Execration as a black / death metal band but in 1993 their style changed to more of a power / thrash metal sound and the name was also changed. Several line-up changes followed during the band's first years in existence. In October 1997 Beyond Dreams went into the Haparanda Botniastudio together with Magnus Alakangas to record their first demo. After five days the work was done and they started sending it to record companies. In 1998 they went back to Haparanda and recorded a promo cd which was sent to labels but no deal came through. In 1999 the band suffered the loss of a couple of members since they moved away from Boden and I think the band sort of faded away after this. They did however do one reunion show in Boden in the year 2000.
