The Swedish heavy metal band Bullet was formed in the small town of Växjö in the south of Sweden in 1996. In the early days they were known under the monicker Breakers and later on Stone Fist and played covers of bands like Judas Priest, Accept, Iron Maiden, Motorhead and AC/DC. They existed for a few years until they broke up in the end of 1999. In early 2002 the band reformed as the thrash metal act Hypnosia had broken up. During a couple of days in late August 2002 they recorded their debut demo tape "Heavy Metal Highway". The tape was used mainly for promotion and landed in the post office box of Agonia Records who signed the band.
