Band biography

Cancer was a death metal band from England that formed in 1988. After gaining a thrashier sound for the last album the band broke up in 1996. The band became the first death metal band to sign to a major label as they secured a deal with East West Records. In 2003, after a seven year hiatus, the band was resurrected by original members John Walker and Carl Stokes and a new EP was recorded.
