Band biography

Catalexie was founded by André de Heus (Mytox, Phantasmagoria & ex-Serenade Of Darkness) and Joyce Loeffen (Mytox & ex-Amethist) in early 2002 under the name "Ippy". But in November 2002 the band decided to change the name for the band. In Mai 2002 Michiel van de Bovenkamp (Terror Of Fetor) joined the band. In september 2002 we found a bassplayer for Catalexie by the name Alex van Harn. And finally in Februari 2003, after rehearsing a couple of months with a drumcomputer, we found a drummer by the name: Rodin van Erven. Their intensions are, to create old school Death metal with some US death-influences. In Oktober 2002 Michiel decided to quit the band to focus more on his other band. And a half year later we decided to quit with Catalexie. In April 2004 André wanted to try it again with Catalexie. But, not as a band but as a onemans-band.

Due a busy schedule he doesn't have time to form another band. He's already recorded a promo for his own use and is not for sale.
