Cernunnos is, by definition, the horned god of the witches. Cernunnos! began as a project in 1996 in hopes
to unite the best musicians in the metal underground in Atlanta, GA to make metal. With Adina Blase
(keys and bass), Rob Marshall (guitar), Thomas Barnwell (guitar), and Blake Jones (drums). The first
recordings of the band were forged. A studio session was in order but the band disbanded shortly before
it due to a loss of members. In the years that followed Adina went on to play keys for Acheron and
Lilitu but never forgot what she started. After leaving Acheron (due to the bands first breakup) then leaving
Lilitu, Adina met up with guitarist Craig Vogel. The two began working on new songs together. In the winter
of 2000 Adina joined North Carolina black metal band Benighted to perform live key duties. Instead of this
taking time from Cernunnos! this lead into Adina meeting up with Benighted vocalist Demoniaque and things
were arranged for him to do vocals for Cernunnos! The new powerful trio worked on material then entered
the studio on February 9th to record the demo "The Horned One". Now with this current recording
the band is in talks with other session members for new recordings and live performances to come
in the very near future. HAIL METAL!!!
