Nouveau Gloaming, or 'The New Twilight,' is a new vision of growing darkness. It's a ticket to a void and desolate planet or an exclusive cult of unrefined and ugly, chilling atmosphere. Our cold, hard, grim perspective on old-school, early nineties Black Metal and something new, more strange and avant-garde. Allowing influences from outside the average confines of Black Metal, and allowing the music to grow new limbs.

Whilst being English at it's heart, both lyrically and in atmosphere, CODE features members of both the UK and Norwegian Black Metal scene, Kvohst from VOID, Viper, aka Vicotnik, from DHG and VED BUENS ENDE and Aiwarikiar from ULVER. Established in 2002 by a unique collaboration of both new and old school Black Metal musicians. Signed to Spikefarm in 2003, the group recorded their debut album during 03/04 in Finland and later mixed in Norway. An unsettling and creepy cult of otherworldly lyricism and pure hypnotic aggression.

CODE is progression and regression. No limits. Where cold, grim Black Metal and the avant-garde meet in a new and strange direction, devoid of superficial trappings. In a permanent state of flux and creation, each new CODE release will build on atmosphere and dynamics, striving to bring a new and unique perspective to the genre.
