Niklas contacted his brother Martin also a very talented drummer and his bandmate from local metal act Mawkish ljv Peter Sjödin. Martin and Peter had been playing together for a number of years and with Niklas they decided that the assistance of an additional guitar player + singer would be required to make the day. Enter Jens Westin, guitar player and singer extraordinaire and the brew began to simmer.
After a couple of jam sessions Martin and Jens both felt that the best thing to do with this project would be to kill it in it's womb, but with the opening riff to "Bring me down" the pieces of the jigsaw started to show a picture, it was dark, it was heavy, it was angry and it looked good. After writing a couple of more songs it was clear that the path of the band would be in the heritage of the heavy rock acts of the 70's with additional layers of a more modern sound.
After a brief experiment with a keyboard player named Håkan Strandell who could not make time in his schedule to continue playing with the guys, the band decided to bring in a third guitarist. With Östersund based guitarist Peter Lundh on the job the band evolved and the vision that might have been a bit blurred was now clear, the sound, the songs and the attitude was there.
Unfortunately also Peter Lundh had to reprioritise and decided to leave the band due to commuting from Östersund to Ånge and also a general lack of time. After a series of successful live gigs in the mid Sweden area the search for a new guitar player continued and with Fredrik Westin the current line up was complete in the fall of 2005.
The band entered Studio Soundcreation in Bollnäs during two weekends in late fall of 2005 to record the self financed EP titled Heart of the Machine.
