Band biography

Danzig is the solo project of Glenn Danzig, formed in 1987 after he had spent time in the punk / shock rock bands The Misfits and Samhain. He sold the concept to Rick Rubin's Def American label the following year. The band performed their first live show in Trenton, New Jersey in September 1988. Since then Danzig has grown to become one of the most popular rock / metal bands in the world.
