Darkness photo
The German thrash metal band Darkness was formed in December 1984 after a Destruction and Tormentor (later Kreator) show. After a row of demos and three full-length albums they finally split up in 1993. Vocalist Oliver "Olli" Fernicke died of a heart attack in 1998. Their album "Defenders Of Justice" was re-released on cd by Laserlight Records under the new title "Broken Heart" in 1991.
