Dawn Of Decay photo
Dawn Of Decay was a Swedish death metal band with slight gothic tendencies that existed in the early 90s. The band was formed under the name Purgatory in 1989 in Forshaga in the mid-north of Sweden. The band's first demo was released in 1992. It was to be followed by a vinyl single, two further demos and a full-length album called "New Hell". As Rikard Löfgren left the band around 1995 the vocals were later on handled by the bass player Johan Carlsson.
