Daylight Dies photo
The American death / doom metal band Daylight Dies was originally formed under the monicker Phoenix in Raleight, North Carolina, in 1996. In late 2001 they signed a deal with Relapse Records. Following a worldwide tour in 2003 with Katatonia (in Europe) and Lacuna Coil (in North America) vocalist Guthrie Iddings left the band.

In late October 2005 the band signed a new worldwide contract with Candlelight Records.
