The madness started in 2002 when four depraved minds mouldering among themselves, came together in one brutal moment to spawn a band. Creating the basics of what is now known as Deathfare, they made their first few songs and set out for their first gig, supporting Blood Red Throne and Zyklon. After a couple of shows things started to progress, and Deathfare rapidly found their right groove; Mixing old school death metal with the occasional melodic fill-in and sinister humour.
After contributing with a song for the compilation cd "Westcore" in 2003, they felt it was about time to record their own demo. This vision manifested itself in the spring of 2004, when the band finally put together a self titled, five track plague. The result was rave reviews and even more gigs, including in many of Norway's larger cities.
In Oct. 2006 Deathfare released their latest demo, entitled "Toe-tagged and body-bagged".
