Defaced Creation was a Swedish death metal band that formed in 1993 under the name Unorthodox. In the early days they used a drum machine as they didn't find a suitable drummer. In the beginning of 1994 they recorded their first demo "Santeria" which included ten songs and received good reviews. In early 1995 they recorded a selt-titled second demo which led to a deal with Paranoia Syndrome to release a 7" EP which was released at the end of the year entitled "Resurrection". After the addition of a drummer, several line-up changes and a couple of more releases the band finally decided to call it quits in 1999. Several members continued under the name Aeon.
