Defenestration photo
The British female-fronted nu-metal band Defenestration was formed in Kettering, England, in 1999. They quickly signed to the native label Dream Catcher Records and released their debut album "One Inch God" in 2001. UK support slots for Megadeth in July and Therapy? in October made sure of getting the band further exposure as a live act. A sophomore effort was issued in October 2003, followed by UK dates in early 2004 but later that year they split up for unknown reasons.
