Depthen started around 2006 under a couple of different names and concepts and failures, and only recently in 2007 has the full vision of Depthen began in it's unending turn thanks to many visions in dreams and in meditation that grow and grow over the years along-side many maturing emotions and altering shifts. Depthen is also a vehicle to reach deep into the creative force and the expanding intellect of what's behind Depthen so that the true natures of the self can be manifested into pure energy form to be inspected for review and change and also for a better view on what is the self, expanding upon countless ways to evolve inside of the cocoon wrapped inside of Depthen. Although the title of Depthen has been given to this evolution, Depthen is ultimately nameless and formless - slowly creating upon itself without any need of a name, Depthen is a spiritual guide/foreteller/journey/dimension that can only see in all directions at the same time and never at only one, creating no barriers and no chains for any direction of evolving at the sloth-like pace it expands.
The sound, after expanding over the years, has managed to create aesthetics from multiple styles of music from funeral/dark doom metal, to ambient and drone, to ritual-like ambient, to cultural types of music, to many other styles (all unintentionally) that all fall into two stones - Depthen & the journeys it produces. Not much can and will be said musically as the sounds created are not intended for any specific genre, and are natural to the situation, the energy formed, and the story/calling to tell.
Depthen (Aua - Ctha - ki) gazes inside and outside of the streaming energy and the entites that flow through it and builds upon the knowledge of these etheric and akashic visions, and will not stop expanding until the years of age weighs onto it.
