Band biography

Rebelangels was formed in the autumn of 2004 by former Marduk members Legion and B. War after they had left the Swedish black metal band. The pair relocated to Los Angeles, California, USA, where they settled with their respective families, announcing plans to unite with American guitarist Jim Durkin (Dreams Of Damnation, Dark Angel) in a new death metal project. Nothing came out of this particular union though and in February 2005 the two Swedes had decided to focus on writing dark heavy rock and were joined by a James Hetfield influenced guitarist called Jimmy in March that year.
