DEVIL'S WHOREHOUSE was formed by Morgan and B.War of MARDUK together with two local musicians in january 2000 as a Misfits and Samhain cover band. Just after two rehearsals the band started to write their own material in the same vein as the bands mentioned above. Inspired by horror movies, realizations and glorifications of the imminent approach of death and disreputable monsters, the band entered the studio in April 2000 to record a mini CD. Eight tracks were put down on tape, four covers of Misfits and Samhain and four tracks of their own.
Devils Whorehouse does not claim to be original. That´s not the purpose of this constellation. Right now the band is writing songs and preparing to record a fullenght CD, which will be released later this year 2002.
Death rock, Horror rock... call it whatever you want, It´s music for the dark at heart.
