Following their well-received debut album of March 1994, DIE VERBANNTEN KINDER EVAS returned after a 2-year break with "Come Heavy Sleep". Musically speaking the recording remained true to their original sound, perhaps becoming more complex and more classical in style. In "Darkness let me dwell", their third release, DVKE continue to make considerable use of their now trademark classical sound. Furthermore, the addition of Tania Borsky's singing talents to Richard Lederer's diverse vocal style's add color and contrast to the darkly tracks typical of DIE VERBANNTEN KINDER EVAS, who signed to Napalm Records' Draenor Productions in 1999.
