In 1990 Preston (guitar) formed DISINTER, with Eddie on vocals, Tom on guitar, Judd on drums and Jay on bass. After Fred (guitar) replaced Tom, DISINTER recorded the 'DISINTERRA ET CORPUS' demo. After some local shows, Preston put DISINTER to rest due to lack of dedication.

In early '93 EYEGOUGER, also driven by Preston's grinding guitar replaced bassist Gene Scrotosac with Rectum Wrecker (Mike). After 2 years of local shows, a small tour and a few demos, EYEGOUGER disbanded.

Preston and Mike kept jamming together and in FEB '95, added Dave ex-FUNERAL NATION on drums. One month later Eddie returned to vocals and Bats ex-GORGASM took on bass. Musically DISINTER can be described as old school thrash/speed metal with 90's death metal influences, delivering heavy hooks and brutal riffing, with blinding, blasting, thrashing drum beats, guttural growls and screams of pain & agony.

After the death & resurrection of DISINTER, the 'STORM OF THE WITCH' demo was born and released to the underground in 1996. One thousand were pressed and devoured by the battalions of metal heads around the world. Within 6 months DISINTER'S death metal disease had spread like the black plague. Randy Williams of PULVERIZER RECORDS became infected and helped DISINTER release 'DESECRATED' in 1997.

'DESECRATED' included the 5 songs that were on the 'STORM' demo and 5 other songs that were recorded at the 'STORM' recording session. Again only one thousand were pressed, and those are long gone.

A 9 song promotional sampler 'TORN FROM THE GRAVE' was also released. The first 3 songs were new DISINTER songs with the new vocalist Zion. He hails from TIBERON, a band out of Dixon, IL. Along with his unsurpassable dedication to the craft, Zion also brings with him a soul that screams in anger, rage and ferocity for live performance that just has to be seen. When his fury is unleashed upon an audience with the precision of a warlock's spell, the living envy of the dead.

In July of '00 the band released a 5 song EP entitled 'THE BEAUTY OF SUFFERING' which is a limited edition shaped disk. Also a full-length entitled 'WELCOME TO OBLIVION'. Both of these have been recorded with our new drummer Tom ex-AD INFINITUM.

Disinter has also licensed WTO to DEAD SUN RECORDS (France), who have furthermore licensed it to MORBID RECORDS (Germany) for distro world wide except U.S. and Mexico.

Disinter also just signed to MORBID RECORDS for a 2-album deal. Watch out for new DISINTER style songs that will tear you from the grave.

Now that the 'STORM' is over and you have been 'DESECRATED', you must be 'TORN FROM THE GRAVE' for the 'WELCOME TO OBLIVION'.
