DISTORTED has worked under several names with different line-up's from 1996. It all began with Raffy Mor and Ori Eshel. two friends from the same high school started to play together just for fun. Benny, from the same high school as well joined the two and the three started playing together more often. after playing together for almost two years Benny left the band.

In 1998 Raffy and Ori have decided to take this band more seriously and to add some more players into their group. Liram Barhom as a lead guitar and Tomer Mush as a bass player.

Few months later Ori met Miri Milman in school. Miri was supposed to join the band as a key-boards player but after hearing her voice they have decided to keep her as their female vocalist. and from that day they were known as Distorted. together they wrote some songs and in October 1998 Distorted has recorded their first demo. the demo was recorded in Mantra studios with the new bass player Guy Shalom that has joined the band three days before the recordings. the second session was completed in january 2000 the demo contains the songs: "Almost Dead", "Sometimes", "Sorry", "Dishate" ,"Children Of Fall". after the recording the band started to preform all around Israel.

In October 2000 the band performed with Edguy on the green-rock festival in raanana, Israel.

In july 2001 Benny Zohar has rejoined the band to replace of Liram. from that moment on up till today the band kept this line up.

In August 2002 the band released two songs over the net: "is It The Wind" and the acoustic track: "As You Lay".

2002 was the best year for Distorted so far. the band got into high gear of giging and writing some new songs: "Illusive", In your light", "Redemption".

Now-days the band is mostly writing some new more songs and concentrating in recording their first mini-album.
