Dog Faced Gods photo
The Swedish death / thrash metal band Dog Faced Gods was formed in 1997 by former Ebony Tears members Johnny Wranning and Conny Jonsson who wanted to combine extreme metal and hardcore with odd meter grooves. Towards the end of the year they found a drummer and bassist and in May 1998 they entered the Studio Underground to record their debut album for the Gothenburg Noiseworks label. The band soon parted ways with the label due to their distribution problems but because of several line-up changes not much happened until the year 2002 when their old bassist Peter Tuthill rejoined them, now on vocals, and a new demo is in the working.
