Dopesick was formed in 1998 by the former Skinlab guitarist Adam Albright. There were many line-up changes in the early days and there were difficulties finding a suitable drummer. He eventually ended up playing for a while with a drummer named Eric and went into the studio with Edie D. from Hetch Hetchy and recorded a few songs that were produced by Scott Sargeant who also played some of the bass parts. Later on the band recorded a EP called "Vendetta". Lots of drummer changes followed within a rather unstable band until a new line-up could be established.
