Dr. Mastermind was a heavy metal band from Portland, Oregon, that formed in 1985 by several well-known local musicians. They recorded a full-length album produced by Steven Fontano and released by Roadrunner Records. After a tour in support of their album they split up due to lack of success. Drummer Deen Castronovo would later on play with many famous musicians, among them Ozzy Osbourne.
