Driver was a band put together by Tommy Aldridge and Rudy Sarzo after leaving Ozzy Osbourne. In August 1985 they were joined by vocalist Jeff Scott Soto and ex-Steeler guitarist Kurt James. This didn't last for more than three weeks though as both Soto and James were fired in September. Craig Goldy came in to replace James but later on he joined Dio and the band apparently faded away. The project later on evolved into the M.A.R.S. band and recorded an album called "Project Driver".
