The Chech power metal band Eagleheart was founded by Michal Kus and Tomas Cafourek in 2003. At the beginning the line-up changed several times but soon Jiri Fiala on the bass guitar and Zdenek Vemola on drums joined the band and when singer Vojta Simonik came in early 2005, it seemed that the line-up will stay on.
In spring 2005 Eagleheart recorded their first MCD Black Sun and played several shows during 2005 and 2006. In summer 2006 the band played at More Than Fest festival in Slovakia together with band like Gamma Ray, Primal Fear, Heed etc.
After that, the singer Vojta decided to left the band just to return in January 2007. However, that was not the end of line-up changes as in March 2007 the guitarist and co-founder of the band Tomas Cafourek decided to leave Eagleheart due to his studies. Almost immediately a new guitarist, a long-time friend of the band, Martin Klekner joined Eagleheart and then in April 2007 the band won a contest in which seven days in studio was the first prize. The studio has helped the band to record their first long-playing CD called Moment Of Life which was released on 10 March 2008 by Metal Swamp, followed by a small tour across the Czech Republic together with Czech leading power metal band Salamandra.
