EDENBRIDGE were founded in 1998 by guitarist and songwriter Lanvall in Linz, Austria. Lanvall already released three solo-albums on WMMS Records and in Japan. With female singer Sabine Edelsbacher and bassist Kurt Bednarsky he found the right musicians to fullfill his musical visions. Drummer Roland Navratil completed the line-up soonafter so the recordings to the debut album "SUNRISE IN EDEN" could begin in the Seagull Music studio with sound-magician Gandalf. When EDENBRIDGE sent the demo-version of the album to record companies a deal with Massacre Records was signed right away. Massacre picked the pearl out of the unoverseeable mass of newcomer acts. In spring 2000 the mix took place at the House of Audio studios, Karlsdorf, Germany with Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69). The remarkable CD-artwork was created by Markus Mayer, who also worked for Nightwish and Atrocity a.o. In addition a promotional CD was recorded which includes song excerpts, bio and info material. The promo Cd will be given away in an edition of 13.000 copies to retail and fans. What can you expect from "SURISE IN EDEN"? Mastermind Lanvall managed to deliver an album which contains all trademarks of a great rock-album: super-catchy hooklines, melodic and brilliant guitar soli, fast double-bass smashers and emotional ballads. Everything can be heard here - every song has enormous hit potential. Starting with the straight grandious opener "Cheyenne spirit" over the epic, various "Surise in Eden" to the semi-ballads "Forever shine on" and "In the rain" nobody can escape the hooklines of EDENBRIDGE. From Savatage over Nightwish to Dream Theater goes the range of the band’s material, a combination which was never yet done before. EDENBRIDGE definetly have the potential to climb to the very top and they prove this impressingly already on this debut. The live-appearances of EDENBRIDGE can soon be seen on the European tour with PINK CREAM 69 and AXXIS. "SUNRISE IN EDEN" is not just another debut in this overflooded rock market - it is THE debut in 2000!
