The German black metal band Eminenz was formed in the spring of 1989. In the autumn they did their first gig together with Cronos Fitan. In the autumn of 1990 they did a live show in support of Mayhem and in the summer of 1992 they supported Carcass. They also played a few smaller festivals like "Thrashing East", "Steinbusch Open Air" and "Fuck The Commerz". In the summer of 1993 they signed a record contract with Austria's Lethal Records which resulted in the debut album "Exorial" in early 1994. A second album was released in 1996, followed by a German promo tour. In the summer of 1997 they played live shows with both Mayhem and Marduk and in 1998 they signed a new record contract with Last Episode.
