What happens when 5 good friends decide to get together and write some thrash metal songs and drink beer, as a change of scenery from their other more "serious" bands? In the case of ENEMYISUS it resulted in a 5-song demo, a few gigs and a whole lot more than they had expected.
ENEMYISUS is a new Swedish metalband from Uppsala and consists of Ronnie (Vocals), Lawrence (Bass/Vocals), Larsson (Drums) and Pete & Staf (Guitars). With all members being fans of the Death/Thrash scene in their younger years, the music that came out wasn't unexpected. Crunchy, heavy & fast Death/Thrash Metal... Swedish style. While obviously falling into the category of "Swedish Death" and bearing influences from pioneers such as AT THE GATES, the ENEMYISUS sound is more updated with lots of groove and punch... guaranteed to make you either bang your head hard or jump up and down.
Ronnie and Lawrence used to play together in FORCEFEED, but in that band Lawrence sang and Ronnie played guitar. Lawrence is also the only member who has experience of playing this sort of music in a professional band, from his days as vocalist in DARKANE. Future plans for ENEMYISUS is to record a debut album, play a lot of shows, drink a lot of beer and proudly make their mark in Metal history.
