A Dark Metal (not Black Metal) band striving to create a
unique niche in the crowded Metal scene. The focus is to create a sense of
wonder, all while delivering a palette of distinguished beauty and
cacophonous rage, while being insistent upon melodicism and aggression, both
light and shade, day and night.
Examining fear and wonder, in both trial and tribulation, leads one
down the lyrical path of Epicurean. Ambiguity is present, although if you
search deep enough, you will find a topical nature underneath it all.
The band was formed under the monicker Acadian in October 2000 but changed their name to Epicurean in January 2001 after a number of lineup changes.
