Epitaph was a death metal band from Ludvika in the province of Dalarna, Sweden, that existed in the early 90s. They released an album called "Tranquillity" via World Fluid Records in 1992 before splitting up. Frontman Jonas Österberg and drummer Lars Szöke went on to join the much more successful Hypocrisy. They are not to be mistaken for another Swedish band called Epitaph who released the album "Seeming Salvation" the same year.
