ESTUARY is a brutal yet melodic death/thrash band for Cincinnati, OH. In mid 2002 the band released its 3 song demo-CD “Riding the Tides of Malice” with members Ash Thomas (guitars/b.vocals), Jesse Wilson (drums), & Brad Howard (guitar) all formerly of Estuary of Calamity, & Zdenka Prado (lead vocals) of Garden of Shadows/Forty Days Longing. Shortly after its release, the band’s line-up was solidified with addition of Steve Eberl on bass from the Cincy based band Morticite.
In May of 2003 the band was approached by IBEX MOON RECORDS who offered to release the band’s next album. The contract was signed & ESTUARY was in the studio by the end of the year. The finished product, "To Exist & Endure", was officially released on June 18, 2004, & has been met with a killer response throughout the worldwide metal scene. By combining ripping riffs, memorable melodies, explosive drumming, & the most brutal & dark female death vocals ever conjured, "To Exist & Endure" is undoubtedly a more than worthy staple on the ever enduring Death Metal underground.
