Everafter is a San Francisco Bay Area Band that infuses aggressive hard rock with grooving pure energy to create a cutting edge sound. Formed in January 2000 by singer Tyler Davis and bass player Joe Raposo with the intention of breaking the mold of traditional hard rock bands. Determined to smash the barriers of the male dominated hard rock scene, the band is driven by a female front vocalist who thrives on the raw nerve of sex driven rock’ n’ roll.
The band is currently promoting their self-titled debut CD with live performances throughout the bay area. They are also preparing songs for a follow-up album to be recorded in the future. At this time, the band is seeking new venues for live shows, in addition to representation and product endorsements.
Everafter’s co-founders Joe Raposo and Tyler Davis began collaborating musically in early 2000. After holding auditions for several months, they found a lack of experienced players. Beginning to lose faith in San Francisco’s music scene, the two began to write alone. Joe and Tyler instantly clicked due to their incredible dedication to progression and producing quality music. With the completion of eight songs, Joe and Tyler started the search, again, for a drummer and guitar player. Still discouraged by the prior auditions, they decided to call upon old friends Paul Thuriot and Jeff R.J.Fski.
Every member of Everafter brings their own unique style to the table. The band’s lead singer, Tyler Davis is a marketing dream; young with a sensual appeal that can charm a wide variety of demographic audiences. Performing in local theater since age 5 she has a natural stage presence. Studying voice for two years under Rocio Guitard, her style is melodic yet driving with an undeniable charisma that will bring the most diehard rock guy to his knees.
In addition, Davis is backed by three of the most individually talented musicians that are way beyond the performance level of most in their genre. Bass player Joe Raposo composes most of the music and possesses an extensive musical background. Initially playing the guitar at age 6, he moved to bass about 7 years later. Becoming a master at the bass, he joined RKL, a hardcore punk band, in 1987 who was then signed with Epitaph Records. Creating two albums with RKL, he stayed with them for eight years, extensively touring Europe and the United States until they broke up in 1996. Guitar player Paul Thuriot has been a musician since the age of 12 playing both guitar and bass. Formerly of the band Jungle Rot, he has performed at numerous metal “fest” shows playing with many worldwide bands. Jeff R.J.Fski provides the steady beat that fuels the band’s rhythm section. With over 15 years of experience, his roots lay in jazz and experimental. These magnetic guys complete the image and create sounds that will blow you away.
