Band biography
Evil Incarnate photo
Evil Incarnate were founded as a result of the mutual hate of all founding members against Jesus Christ. Thus this American Death Metal band was founded already in 1994, only to wage war against everything sacred with a musical campaign of destruction. At first known by the name Apollyn, they quickly put out a demo tape entitled "Beyond Blasphemy". Also Appolyn were able to enlist Mike Eisenhauer, a sick, ardent frontman, in their ranks, who was also the mainman behind Thrash Death legend Num Skull. From now on he accompanied guitars and bass with his inhumane vocalstyle. His old band buddy Scott Creekmore, known from Broken Hope and Num Skull, took over drum duties. In 1995 Tom Brandner, also formerly of Num Skull, joined as the second guitarist. At the same time former Jungle Rot drummer Andy Vehenkamp replaced Creekmore. This strong line-up recorded the "Deliverance From Salvation" demo in 1996. The 1997 saw permanent line-up changes in the guitar department. In quick succesion Rob Rigney und Dave Gally, who had been in Fear Spawned Religion before, joined the band. The change of the band name into Evil Incarnate is said to have happened in this era. The same year also saw the release of the third, self titled demo, which was followed a year later by a fourth release by the title "Christ Destroyed". These two demos were later released by Deathgasm Records under the title "Blood Of The Saints" This bizarre band again was not lazy and released their brilliant debut "Blackest Hymns Of Gods Disgrace" as a final blow against the despised religion of the light. In the past the band has been compared with established and well-known acts like Dark Funeral, Monstrosity, Nile, Brutal Truth, Incantation, Internal Bleeding, Vital Remains and Cephalic Carnage. Talking about destructive vehmence Evil Incarnate are simply a jet of a flame above the aforementioned competition.
