Band biography

The Danish death metal band Exmortem was originally formed under the moniker Mordor in 1992. In 1993 they recorded their first demo entitled "Souls Of Purity" and in June 1995 they released their debut album through the native label Euphonious Records. Some line-up and label changes followed but the band is still active. In March 2002 the band signed a deal with Osmose Productions, following a split with the Dutch label Hammerheart Records. They split with Osmose in June 2004.
